Work with our artisans to craft a hand-written note to accompany the gift you select.

We are featuring local artisans from the Highlands/Atlantic Highlands area. These artisans reflect the diversity and core fabric of our community … these artisans include classically trained as well as self-taught individuals, they range in age from 17 to 70+, and their materials and inspirations include local and global influences. Francesco’s has been in continuous operation in Highlands for over 30 years. Proprietor Giorgio Migliaccio offers high quality Italian food in a casual family-friendly atmosphere. This event will be held in the Garden Terrace … a heated space overlooking the herb and flower garden that helps to flavor the food and adorn the tables at Francesco’s.

Car Accident on Bay Ave by Chilangos

On Wednesday Evening approximately 10:40 pm a sedan  traveling west bound on Bay Avenue slammed into a parked car in front of Action Realty pushing it onto Sea Drift Avenue and coming to a complete stop in front of Francescos.

No reported injuries except for the car being driven which apparently lost a wheel.

The car that was parked belonged a Chilangos patron.

Small Businesses Met at Francescos to Voice Frustrations

francescopizzaopeningNew Jersey Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald met with the NJ Main Street Alliance and fifteen small business owners (From Hoboken to LBI) Monday, in a roundtable event discussing the Economic Development Authority’s grossly mismanaged administration of the Stronger New Jersey Business Grant program.

The event, which took place at Francesco’s Italian Restaurant in Highlands, New Jersey, featured several business owners from across the state expressing serious frustrations about lengthy, unexplained delays, being bounced from caseworker to caseworker, and a lack of transparency surrounding the process.


How to get a FREE Pizza in Highlands

Francesco’s Pizza is running a “Picture of Pizza” Contest, allowing customers to post pictures of the newly done pizzeria on their facebook page and if they tag it “Francesco’s Italian Restaurant” they have the opportunity to win a FREE large plain pie.

One winner will be chosen every week.

Rules are:

1) Take a picture of yourself and / or friends eating a Francesco’s meal

2) Post the pictures to our Francesco’s facebook page

3) automatically enter a chance to win a free PIZZA!


Pizza is back in Highlands

francescopizzaopeningPizza is back in Highlands for the first time since Sandy! Francesco’s is Re-Opening Tuesday March 5th at 11:00 AM.  Stop in at 279 Bay Avenue, Highlands NJ 08724.  The side tent is not yet available so the dining space is small. But Delivery & Pick up are both available.
