Highlands ParadeRibbon Cutting Ceremonies:

Waterwitch Coffee Shop,  Krankys & Chilango’s are doing their ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday  POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN, Rescheduled for SUNDAY 5/26


Highlands American Legion Post #143 and Highlands VFW are putting on the annual Memorial Day Parade. The Parade is starting at Huddy Park at 1:00 pm Saturday May 25th. CANCELED DUE TO RAIN


Sunday May 26th, the 13th annual craft show will commence at Huddy Park 10 AM and will include 50 crafters.


  1. They’re having their ribbon cutting ceremony this weekend? I could have sworn I was in there two weeks ago!

    And if you’re looking for things to do in Highlands this Memorial Day weekend….I’m sure they’ll be some drinking down at the Driftwood and plenty of “post-Sandy” analysis down at Katz’s!


    • Did they ever close?

      I went in there once and I thought, “I could have sworn they moved the “All in the Family” set to the Smithsonian?”

      Besides….the Driftwood is better staggering distance!
