  1. Applied online this morning. Not easy to understand the website to get to an application for and after submission it says I only applied for Resettlement, but I wanted Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation, and Mitigation Program. There was not an option to pick one or the other, so maybe its one application for both.

When you call the provided number, the system hangs up on you as soon as you press “1” for Homeowner programs. I am on hold now for the “Other programs” since it was the only option that didn’t hang up on me.

Good Luck everyone! & THANKS HB for posting this valuable info 🙂 This is about the only program that I will qualify for (maybe Hope for Highlands when I get to that point).

  2. UPDATE: You must apply separately for the programs. It is not easy to navigate the website to get to the applications, at least it wasn’t for me. I talked to a Case Worker, finally. They encourage we apply for both. Here’s to some luck for all of us with these programs! P.S. I will be signing my first contract to start the repair of my beloved home today…maybe this all happening today is a sign of happier days ahead.
