The latest storm has a name & its NEMO

Any one remember the blizzard of ’78? Weather channel is predicting this is worse than that blizzard. I kind of thought the one we had a few years ago after Christmas was pretty bad.
Parts of Middletown have already lost power. To track the outages click here

(You can also figure this out by the fact your lights won’t work.)

High tide will be about 6:30 p.m. tonight and about 6:45 a.m. on Saturday. Take all necessary precautions including moving vehicles to higher ground. Call 1-888-LIGHTSS for power outages, that’s 1-888-544-4877.

  1. Oh my God…..I better get up early so I can start shoveling snow in front of my house….oh wait a minute….I DON’T LIVE IN A HOUSE ANYMORE! Well, I better remember to move my car….oh wait….my car now lives in Eatontown! Well, the good thing is if i’m snowed in for a few days atleast I can watch television….what? Oh, that’s right…I don’t have one of those either…..

I’m sorry, but it’s just a little hard to get that excited about “the storm of the century” when it seems to happen every few months…..

    • OMG – there’s another storm coming this week – I wonder what we will call this “Storm of the Century!” I understand evacuation orders are already in place!
