The ICC Letter has Changed on Town Web Site


For any of you that may have previously printed out or emailed your insurance company with the ICC letter found here  You may have to resend in the new version that states you have substantial damage that is greater than 50% damage. For more info on raising your home click here

Original ICC Letter NEW ICC LETTER
To Whom it may concern,This letter is to verify that your home @ YOUR ADDRESS HERE is located in the flood zone.The assessed value of the structure has been determined by the last tax card in the tax file.

The home was designated substantially damaged which was caused by hurricane Sandy.

The total cost that determined the structure was substantially damaged and was given to me by the homeowner and also by visual inspection.

The requirement to raise a home out of the flood zone is a FEMA requirement and its height shall be determined by your Elevation Certificate and your location in the Flood zone.

As part of the FEMA grant the ICC funds must be used to assist with the cost of compliance to raise the structure out of the flood zone.

All prior approvals and permits are required prior to work commencing.
