When going to Sandy Hook one of the first places you can hike on the Bay side is Parking Lot B.
You go across the street and walk to the left. Your view walking towards the river/bay is the twin lights.
You can see the bridge to the left, Bahrs, and the Wind and Sea words on the roof of the restaurant.
You will walk along the water and see a bunch of trees that will block the beach, if its low tide you can walk in front of them, if its high tide you may be able to climb over them otherwise, you’ll have to walk back the way you came.
Its a quick nice hike, dog friendly and scenic.
